Planegea 5E Campaign Setting is LIVE on Kickstarter!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Oct 19, 2021 at 11:16:52 AM

Planegea 5th Edition Campaign Setting is LIVE on Kickstarter!

It’s time for heroes who can hear the clan-drums and star-song to rise to the call! Back the Planegea 5E prehistoric fantasy campaign on Kickstarter NOW!

In Planegea a dungeon means the   curse-painted caves of a cannibal clan. Gone are the safe hearths of   taverns and libraries, kingdoms and cathedrals. Planegea is a place of utter wildness, where survival is the only law and it must be carved from the world by force of might and magic.

Drawn from the traditions of sword & sorcery pulp adventures,   infused with the blood-pounding thrills of the Fury Road, and caught in   the jaws of primordial dreams, Planegea calls to those who've felt the cold wind raise a chill of hunt and hope on their raw skin.

Back Planegea 5E on Kickstarter now!

This Kickstarter campaign includes:

  • Planegea 5E Standard Edition with over 350 pages of new 5E content
  • Planegea 5E Deluxe Edition with dino-green embossed foil leatherette cover and slipcase
  • Planegea GM Screen
  • In the Lair of the Night Thing Adventure
  • The Stone Age Soundtrack Digital Files
  • Echoes of Planegea Digital Adventures

Thank you for your continued support!

New for Unknown Armies: Bring Me the Head of the Comte de Saint-Germain
about 4 years ago – Sun, Jan 17, 2021 at 03:11:08 AM

We’ve just released a brand new mini-campaign for Unknown Armies by Greg Stolze! Bring Me the Head of the Comte de Saint-Germain is based on the incredible tournament that Greg ran last year. He’s expanded his notes so that you can either pick up the mini-campaign and immediately start playing OR incorporate it into your ongoing Unknown Armies shenanigans.

The book has just arrived in our warehouse and we’ve begun shipping out preorders!

Four factions. Two cabals. One 600 pound head.

In 2003, the universe got rewritten and the Comte de Saint-Germain — arguably the most important human to have ever existed, the First and the Last Man, the Once and Future Eschaton of the Invisible Clergy — got his brain scrambled. Now the race is on to retrieve his head! Or, more accurately, the huge, stone, religious bust in which the Comte locked up some of his memories for reasons she no longer remembers.

The head was dug up by a bunch of clueless archaeologists and stuck in a museum in Québec. There are at least two different groups looking to steal it, another looking to steal it from whoever steals it first, and a fourth that would rather the head stay right where it is. Can the players steal it? Defend it? Steal it back again? Trade it to Old Mother Apocalypse for a jar full of fentanyl lollipops?

It’s all up to them. And the only thing on the line is the fate of the universe… well, the next one.

You can check it out at the Atlas Games online store. It’s also available from your favorite local game store! In these troubled times, take a moment to find out if your local game store has a curbside pick-up or delivery service! Like all of us, they’re having a tough time right now and could surely use your support!

New Gamemaster Month

Unknown Armies is also featured in New Gamemaster Month! That makes it a perfect time to pluck these enigmatic tomes off your shelf and bring them to the table! (In fact, Bring Me the Head of the Comte de Saint-Germain is a great way to launch a new campaign!)

Justin Alexander, Atlas’ RPG Producer, will participating in the New Gamemaster Month Discord. Join him over there!

Magical Kitties Save the Day!

For something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, our newest roleplaying game has also just arrived in our warehouse!

In Magical Kitties Save the Day you’re a magical kitty, you have a human, and your human has a Problem. (Some humans believe that they own the kitties rather than the other way around, but that’s clearly ridiculous.) You need to use your magical powers to solve your human’s Problems and save the day! The trick, though, is that you live in a hometown that is ALSO filled with Problems: Those hometown Problems — things like mischievous fairies and hyper-intelligent raccoons and alien invasions — make your human’s Problems worse, so you’ll have to deal with them first!

New from Greg Stolze: A Novel and an Unknown Armies Adventure
over 4 years ago – Tue, Oct 13, 2020 at 09:20:02 PM

God Cancer: A Novel

Greg Stolze, co-creator of Unknown Armies, is running a Kickstarter campaign for God Cancer, his latest book. You can learn about it here.

From Greg: "I've written a horror novel inspired by the Cthulhu mythos, Poe, and oncology ... GOD CANCER starts with At the Mountains of Madness, meshes it with The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym (the origin of the dread phrase "Tekeli li!"), and brings it into the twenty-first century with a heavy dose of harrowing medical drama."

Physical totems — in limited quantities — include the Stolze-traditional patches and linocuts. Some limited pledge levels are nearly exhausted, as of this writing.

Please support the art you want to see in the world.

Bring Me the Head of the Comte de Saint-Germain: An Unknown Armies Adventure

Bring Me the Head of the Comte de Saint-Germain, an Unknown Armies adventure originally created for our summer tournament, is now available for pre-order. For a limited time, pre-order the physical book and get a copy of the PDF delivered today for free.

In this innovative three-part series of adventures, players swap roles between antagonists and protagonists for a unique roleplaying experience. It's designed to be run in your existing campaign or as a pick-up-and-play for new players with a cast of pre-generated characters. Learn more about the adventure and order your copy now.

Greg Stolze's AFTER THE COPS
over 4 years ago – Tue, Jul 14, 2020 at 07:27:03 PM

Before they turned out the light and went home forever, the last police officer in America stuck a post-it on the door at Atlas Games headquarters in Proctor, Minnesota.

"Greg Stolze saw it first," the note said.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves, writing to you, as we are, from the future.

Unknown Armies co-creator Greg Stolze is crowdfunding the release of a new short story, After the Cops. As "a science fiction and sometime crime writer," in this tale Greg imagines what the transformation to a de-funded, disarmed police force might look like from the middle of it.

An audiobook recording for backers has already been unlocked.

Physical totems — in limited quantities — include the Stolze-traditional patches and linocuts. Some limited pledge levels are nearly exhausted, as of this writing.
